SYNOPSIS:

​

Unsettling figures dance against the backdrop of a bombed city: as the bodies move, the destruction becomes increasingly evident. A child enters the scene with a balloon — he wants to play — but, disturbed by the tragic landscape, he runs away.

The video is a spin off of Travel Notebooks, a project started in 2014 that explores the theme of travel and cities. The technique is the same, but the urban landscape is no longer a travel destination: it is a stage of war.

 

Figure inquietanti danzano su uno sfondo di una città bombardata: man mano che i corpi si muovono, la distruzione si fa sempre più evidente. Un bambino entra in scena con un pallone — vorrebbe giocare — ma, turbato dal tragico paesaggio, scappa.

Il video è uno spin off di Travel Notebooks, progetto avviato nel 2014 che esplora il tema del viaggio e delle città. La tecnica è la stessa, ma il paesaggio urbano non è più meta di un viaggio: è scenario di guerra.
